Get Yallah Speak — free

AI translation in the spoken dialect, written with diacritics the way it is pronounced. Good for everyday phrases; double-check anything important.

Quick answer This tool translates short sentences into the Arabic people actually speak: Egyptian, Syrian, Lebanese, Palestinian, Iraqi, Moroccan Darija, Tunisian, Gulf, Sudanese or Modern Standard Arabic. Google Translate only gives you Standard Arabic, which nobody speaks at home. Here you get the dialect, the transliteration, the literal meaning and the audio.

How it works

  1. Choose your language: English, German, Spanish, French or Turkish.
  2. Choose the dialect you want. If you are not sure which one, our guide on which Arabic dialect to learn helps you decide in five minutes.
  3. Read the transliteration out loud, then press Listen and copy the voice. That is the whole method: hear, repeat, get corrected.

Frequently asked questions

Is this a real dialect translator or just Standard Arabic?

Real dialects. The model is instructed with the same dialect rules our app uses, for example Egyptian “izzayak”, Levantine “kifak”, Gulf “shlonak”, Moroccan “kidayer”, and it is told never to fall back to textbook Standard Arabic.

How accurate is it?

Very good for everyday sentences in all ten dialects. It runs on the same model that powers the conversations in the Yallah Speak app, with the dialect rules we teach by, and it flags the male and female forms where they differ. Spoken Arabic still varies from city to city, so for anything official ask a native speaker.

Why only 10 translations a day?

Each translation costs us money, and the tool is meant to get you speaking, not to translate your emails. In the Yallah Speak app you can talk without limit and get pronunciation feedback on every sentence.

Which languages can I translate from?

English, German, Spanish, French and Turkish. Write the sentence the way you would actually say it, casual or polite; the tool keeps that register in the Arabic.

Say it, don’t just read it.

AI conversations in 10 real dialects, honest pronunciation feedback and a course from A1.
